Fiber Placement

/ Discipline 02

Fiber placement — pulling & blowing.

Fiber and cable placement through installed conduit, innerduct, and microduct — by mechanical pull or air-assisted jetting, chosen for the pathway, distance, and cable type. Every run stays inside the manufacturer's tension and bend-radius limits, footage is logged by segment, and continuity is confirmed before the crew moves on.

Logging

Per-segment footage

/ 02 — Capabilities

What we
actually do.

Every line below is in-house. We don't subcontract to crews we haven't trained ourselves.

  • Cable pulling
  • Air-assisted fiber blowing / jetting
  • Microduct and innerduct placement
  • Duct proofing and mandrel testing
  • Mid-span access and figure-8 handling
  • Footage and tension logging

/ 03 — Process

Four phases.
No surprises.

/ 01

Proof the path

Duct is mandrel-tested and proofed end to end; obstructions cleared and a pull line or blowing head staged before any cable is committed.

/ 02

Pull or blow

Method is chosen for the route — distance, bend count, duct size and cable type decide it, not crew preference.

/ 03

Place to spec

Cable is pulled with tension monitoring or jetted with a fiber blower, held inside the manufacturer's load and bend-radius limits.

/ 04

Log & confirm

Placed footage, pulling tension and blowing distances are logged by segment, and continuity is confirmed before crews demobilize.
